About the Role
Joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team on a permanent part time basis, you will support people with disability to live their best lives in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.
This is a permanent part time position based in Mount Waverly. The successful candidate must be able to commit to the set roster line below. Which is a Roster Split of 61:30/56:30 with includes sleepover shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
- Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
- Maintain thorough record keeping
- Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
- Advocate for client choice and control
Skills & Experience
- Certificate IV in Disability, Community Welfare or Similar
- Experience with manual handling
- Previous experience working with behaviours of concern
- Understanding of behaviour support plans
- An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check, obtaining an NDIS Clearance and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years
