About the role
Reporting to the Executive Director, Aged Care, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across VIC, TAS, SA & NT Aged Care services. You will lead Managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop strong leadership capability and accountability to the Aged Care Quality Standards while partnering with the Practice Policy and Assurance and Business Partners to continue to strengthen practice and service delivery.
We are seeking an experienced and values-driven leader in this newly created position at a time of growth. This is a permanent full time position located in Melbourne with flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and embed a culture of service excellence, safety and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement innovative business development strategies that drive sustainable growth and service diversification across VIC, SA, NT & TAS.
- Develop and embed mechanisms for continuous improvement to capture customer service metrics, seek feedback and refine processes.
- Drive workforce growth and retention by creating an environment of engagement, continuous learning, and professional development.
- Provide oversight on compliance with policies & processes, the Strategic Plan, State business plans and the relevant statutory regulations, funding agreements and accreditation standards.
- Ensure consistent quality standards that align with relevant legislation and funding agency expectations, ensuring every client receives exceptional care.
- Collaborate effectively within a partnership model to ensure quality service delivery, governance, and financial sustainability with agile HR management.
- Oversee operational budgeting to ensure cost-effective growth, balancing program expansion with fiscal discipline.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Human Services or equivalent demonstrated expertise through relevant experience.
- Exceptional people leadership that has cultivated a unified team culture grounded in shared accountability, high-performance standards, and collaborative cohesion.
- Extensive background in community services, managing large programs for vulnerable communities.
- Proven track record in budget management, governance, and risk oversight in complex environments.
- Experience growing teams and programs to enhance service delivery for vulnerable Australians.
- Current Driver Licence.
