About the role
Joining the team as a Program Manager (Disability Mental Health) you will be an experienced and qualified leader responsible for overseeing and expanding our newly established service footprint in the Collie and southwest regions of Western Australia.
You will demonstrate and model strong organisational and leadership skills, providing specialist expertise, supervision, and guidance to your team. Your focus will be on developing methods that enable clients to maximise choice and control while ensuring all services remain safe, high quality, and compliant.
This is a permanent full-time position which will require on-site team leadership in Collie as well as strong stakeholder engagement and community relationship building to ensure continuity of service delivery and support future growth across Collie, Bunbury and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day running of services including managing services budgets, compliance, reporting and record keeping, staffing ratios and vacancy management
- Ensure delivery of services in accordance with program budgets, business plans, client needs and rostering requirements
- Identify services gaps, emerging needs, and growth opportunities within local community and the region
- Support Regional Operations Manager with business cases for new programs, locations or services models
- Provide direct supervision and performance feedback to staff to embed person centred practice, focus on quality outcomes and deliver safe support
- Lead Active Support implementation and embed person centred Active Support and support practice uplift
- Participate in communities of practice to contribute to the development and review of practice approaches
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Human Services or relevant field
- Strong leadership/management experience in a human services organisation
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders to support sustainable service growth
- Experience working in a dynamic and high-volume work environment with ability to manage competition priorities and deliver outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to support productive working relationship sand manage staff
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
