About the Role
We’re seeking a Practice Assurance Business Partner to lead a team focused on quality and compliance across our Child, Youth, and Family Services for QLD and NT. You’ll drive continuous improvement, manage audits, and ensure our work meets regulatory standards.
This permanent, full-time role can be based anywhere in QLD. Some state-wide travel will be required along with occasional trips to NT.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and inspire the QLD/NT Practice Assurance Team to achieve quality accreditation.
- Promote a culture of excellence aligned with Life Without Barriers’ values.
- Coach and support your team for peak performance.
- Collaborate nationally to build consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Drive risk management, audit readiness, and process improvements.
- Support client services on compliance and quality systems.
- Monitor and resolve systemic issues with a continuous improvement mindset.
What You Bring
- Strong background in quality management, audit, risk, and compliance in community services.
- Relevant degree qualifications (Human Services, Management, or similar).
- Experience with Out of Home Care legislation and standards (preferred).
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence and work across teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care models is a plus.
Note: You will be required to compete a National Police Check and QLD/NT state based WWC and child protection checks. These check will be run by LWB as part of your background screening.
