About the role

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Kalgoorlie to provide essential support to two non-verbal male clients living in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) arrangement.

This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of people with disability. You will work as part of a collaborative team, supporting the clients’ individual needs and creating a safe, person-centred environment.

This role primarily consists of sleepover shifts from 5:00pm to 9:00am, a minimum of 3 sleepovers per week. The position requires experience or confidence in manual handling and personal care, as both clients require a moderate level of physical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day living activities (including personal care such as assisting with showering, dressing etc)
  • Community access & transport to appointments/shopping etc
  • Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
  • Documenting & Progress Note keeping

Skills & Experience

  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • Certificate III Individual Support, Disability or similar
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
