About the Role

Joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team in Nowra you will provide daily living supports to people living with disabilities so they can achieve their personal goals and maintain a high standard of living. We have Casual opportunities available, where the successful candidate will need availability to work across a 24/7 roster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support four incredible people who bring lots of personality, humour and warmth to every day
  • Provide a variety of supports from quiet, tech-focused time to playful chats, new experiences, and group activities
  • Offer opportunities for choice, self-expression, and active involvement across all facets of our daily care services
  • Follow personalised support and behaviour plans while assisting clients with daily living activities and encouraging community engagement
  • Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record-keeping
  • Providing support to clients who have complex needs or challenging behaviours

Skills & Experience

  • Bring your gaming skills to work – whether it be board games, iPads or PlayStation
  • Ability to connect, enjoy variety, and believe in making every day meaningful
  • An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Committed to work flexible hours across the week, including public holidays
  • Ability to use technology and software on a mobile and desktop
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
