About the Role  

Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or the community, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required. 

Shifts fall between Monday to Sunday primarily between 7am to 6pm. Ability to work flexibly is required. No overnights or sleepovers required.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support clients with daily personal care such as bathing, shaving and toileting 

  • Provide medication assistance and mobility assistance by lifting and transferring clients into community bus 

  • Advocate for client choice and control to achieve their personal goals through meaningful activities while cultivating a supportive and positive environment  

  • Follow person-centred active support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully 

Skills & Experience 

  • An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle 

  • Committed to work flexible work hours across the week, including public holidays 

  • Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop 

  • A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 

Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
