About the role

Be part of an exciting new service in Auburn, offering Independent Living Options for individuals living with disability. In this role, you will provide person-centred supports, empowering the people we support to live independently and achieve their personal goals. This permanent opportunity offers approximately 20 hours per fortnight involves care delivery across a 24/7 roster, which will include morning supports and sleepover shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Willingness to work sleepover and short, split shifts required
  • Support clients with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, manual handling, and domestic assistance
  • Facilitate transport and community participation, fostering social inclusion and engagement
  • Work alongside clients to implement and monitor individualised support plans that reflect their unique goals
  • Build respectful and empowering relationships, advocating for client choice and control with a focus on safety and compliance

Skills and Experience

  • Committed to work flexible work hours across the week, including public holidays
  • A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence and access to reliable vehicle (minimum Third Party Insurance)
