About the Role
Support 4 males with disability living in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Mascot. The people you will support require someone with experience in personal care (including stoma and catheter care), manual handling and with an understanding of dementia care.
Successful candidates will join on a casual basis. Many of the shifts are 6-9 hour morning or afternoon shifts. However, it is an expectation that successful candidates will have availability for active nights and shorter shifts of 4-5 hours.
Joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team, you will support people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.

- Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
- Maintain thorough record keeping
- Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
- Advocate for client choice and control
Skills & Experience
- Experience working with people with disability
- Previous experience with catheter and stoma care
- Manual Handling Experience
- An understanding of dementia care
- An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
