About the role

Provide day to day active support and work within a team to deliver quality services and achieve positive outcomes for people with Disability living in Kalgoorlie.

Successful candidates will be available for casual shift work of up to 48 hours per fortnight which may include overnight, active nights, weekends and public holidays. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day active support 
  • Assistance with daily living (including personal care)
  • Community Access & Transport
  • Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
  • Documenting & Progress Note keeping

Skills & Experience

  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • Current Provide First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Confidence in providing personal care
  • Willingness to complete basic household chores

To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
