As a Manager Casework, you will provide practice mentoring, coaching, and support to case management staff to achieve positive outcomes for children, young people, and families whilst ensuring the delivery of quality evidence-based services and promoting respectful, purposeful casework

Skills & Experience

  • A recognised Degree qualification in Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology, Nursing or Mental Health, or a recognised Diploma in a related field and working toward a degree qualification.
  • A qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander candidates in NSW and NT, with five (5) demonstrated relevant experience.
  • A current driver’s licence
  • Demonstrated experience in case planning with children and young people who have experienced trauma, focusing on achieving permanency outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership/management, coaching, mentoring, and providing support and training to managers and staff.
  • Understanding of current casework practice for children and young people, including trauma-informed, permanency-focused, and therapeutic case plans.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and NSW Working with Children Check.
