About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be providing person-centred active support to people living with disability. Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.

Key Responsibilities
- Support a young male client 1:1 with daily living tasks
- Assist with daily routines including domestic assistance
- Prompt and encourage community engagement and outings including gym and bush walking
- Promote client choice and independence in all interactions
- Listen, learn, adapt and build supports around what matters to the individual
- Availability for sleepover shifts required
Skills & Experience
- An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
- A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
