About the role
Reporting to the ICT PMO Manager, help shape and deliver impactful transformation across our disability services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on meaningful work and wants to contribute to improved outcomes for the people we support. You’ll bring deep experience delivering complex projects, involving case management, client management, or patient management systems. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about maintaining high‑quality project artefacts that create clarity, alignment, and confidence for all stakeholders.
This is a permanent full time position and can be located anywhere in Australia. You can work from home or one of our offices, wherever you work best.
Key Responsibilities
- Successfully manage the development, planning, execution and delivery of nominated projects utilising project management systems, tools and change management frameworks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Develop project briefs and service proposals which describe scope, deliverables, high level solution options, project plan, and identify resources estimates and skills required.
- Build justifications for business investment that align with strategic objectives through the production of business cases.
- Develop and manage project-level budget, schedule and resource allocations.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies and communicate as required.
- Prepare accurate executive level project status reports.
- Develop and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Life Without Barriers project management tools and systems.
Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, information technology, project management or similar areas.
- Extensive end to end project management experience in a high demand environment with multiple key stakeholders and priorities.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team to deliver business outcomes.
- Previous experience writing business cases.
- Demonstrated experience with various development approaches e.g. Waterfall, Agile.
- Ability to demonstrate successful establishment of new business capabilities and achieving tangible business benefits and outcomes in line with the agreed business case.
- Proven ability to successfully deliver positive project outcomes.
- Significant experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver high quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement within the context of high-risk matters.
- Ability to drive organisation-wide initiatives and strong organisational, planning and prioritising ability.
- The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including executive level stakeholders, peers, employees and external organisations.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
