Location: Dubbo
As part of our Dubbo team, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and mentoring a team of dedicated youth support workers within a therapeutic residential setting. You'll play a key role in supporting Young People to develop independent living skills, engage in education and remain positively connected to their team of Care Workers, Families, and broader community connections.
The Young People we care for have experienced backgrounds of trauma, abuse and/or neglect. You will work in partnership with a Therapeutic Specialist and Case Manager to lead the implementation of the CARE model and ensure a safe, homelike environment for the Young People in our care.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday with one administration day allocated. There will be a requirement to participate in an on-call roster once a month covering one week at a time.

Role requirements:
- A Diploma of Community Services, Youth work or related (A qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience)
- Previous Leadership or extensive Therapeutic Support Work experience in services that support young people, such as OOHC, ITC, Mental Health and Disability settings
- Ability to provide supervision and support to a team of Therapeutic Care Workers, to embed the delivery of therapeutic models of support to Young People.
- Current First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011)
- Current Drivers Licence
