About the role

As a member of the Project Management Office, you will partner with our Disability & Mental Health services and Child, Youth & Family Services teams to work on large transformation system projects.

This is a maximum term full time contract through to June 2027 and can be located in either Sydney or Newcastle (or anywhere in between). You can work from home or one of our offices, wherever you work best, however, you will be required to work in the Newcastle or Sydney office occasionally for in person collaboration.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct analysis to develop clear and concise business and technology solution options, recommendations and other project initiation documentation
  • Utilise business analysis techniques to elicit business needs and produce process models and requirements artefacts
  • Facilitate and promote strategic alignment of core business processes and corresponding data design with Enterprise Architecture aims
  • Play a lead role in technology projects by supporting design, build and implementation activities as required
  • Assist data and migration analysis to support solution design and deployment planning
  • Assist in planning and execution of system testing and integration testing in conjunction with the SMEs and operational staff, including developing test case scenarios
  • Lead discussions as required with business stakeholders, internal ICT and external software vendors to configure/ build systems according to the business requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in business analysis
  • Significant experience in engaging business users to quantify issues and capture business requirements
  • Experience working with large enterprise systems on key transformation projects
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a partnership approach
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting issues quickly and identifying and analysing solutions in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated experience in handling sensitive material and maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent written communication skills for the creation of correspondence and, as required, other materials or reports

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
