About the role 
These permanent part-time positions in Ringwood  involve supporting people with disability to live life on their own terms. To provide best support the successful candidates will have experience working with behaviours of concern and regular manual handing tasks.

You will be a dedicated and compassionate support worker who is passionate about active support and helping people achieve their goals and dreams. You must be able to commit to one the set permanent part time rosters below.

Roster split 40:30/41:30 which includes sleepover shifts and short morning shifts.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
  • Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
  • Maintain thorough record keeping
  • Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
  • Advocate for client choice and control


Skills & Experience

  • Experience with behaviours of concern
  • Confidence and experience in providing personal care
  • Experience in manual handling
  • A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities and personal goals of people with disabilities.
  • Ability to develop a positive relationship with clients and to support their Individual Personal Plan.
  • Cert IV in Disability or similar
  • A current Senior First Aid (level 2) Certificate.
  • A current unrestricted Driver Licence and willingness to drive a company van.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years.
