Role: Intensive Therapuetic Care Worker (Significant Disabilities)
Employment Type: Casual
Location: Central Coast
As a Therapeutic Youth Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting a young person with an intellectual disability, PTSD, and developmental trauma who presents with complex and high-intensity behaviours. Using a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach, you will build a safe, consistent, and trusting relationship that promotes emotional regulation, wellbeing, and personal growth
Our residential homes operate 24/7, therefore it is essential that successful applicants are able and willing to work a roster which regularly includes afternoon, sleepover and weekend shifts. We will not be able to consider applicants who cannot fulfil this requirement.

Role requirements:
- Hold or be actively completing a Diploma in Community Services or related field (or higher) (Please note: a qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience)
- Experience supporting Children, Young People and/or People with disability
- A current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate
- A current driver’s licence
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check and NSW Residential Care Workers Register check.
