About the role

Support our Aged Care clients to remain living independently in their own homes through the provision of personalised in-home care and personal care support across Darwin.  Regular travel between shift sites will be required in your own vehicle, travel will be reimbursed.

The successful candidates will be available for Permanent Part Time shifts on weekdays, around 15-20 hours per week. You will provide a combination of domestic assistance, personal care and community access support to best meet the needs of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Domestic assistance duties (cleaning, laundry etc)
  • Meal preparation and assistance with daily living 
  • Social supports and community access 
  • Personal care

Skills & Experience 

  • Passionate about making a positive impact in our ageing community 
  • An Australian Driver’s Licence and ownership of a reliable registered vehicle 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships 
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment) 

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check.
