About the Role

                                 Employment Type:  Maximum Term, Full Time contract

                                Contract End Date: 30 June 2026

                                 Location: Toowoomba with flexible hybrid working arrangements

Due to exciting internal movements, we are currently seeking 2 x Program Managers to join our Child, Youth & Family team in Toowoomba.

As a Program Manager, you will lead and develop teams and carers to deliver holistic, trauma informed support to children and young people in our residential care, foster and kinship care services. You will also be responsible for ensuring services are delivered as per best practice and aligned to funding and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to a team of Child & Family Practitioners and Youth Workers.
  • Monitor team caseloads and offer practical hands-on support where needed.
  • Ensure programs are delivered to a high standard and in line with client needs, funding, budgets & business plans
  • Ensure compliance with service delivery legislation, standards, contracts & policy.
  • Proactively identify risks and emerging issues impacting service delivery

Skills & Experience

  • Recognised Human Services or other relevant qualification.
  • Significant experience in the child protection and out of home care sector.
  • Strong coordination, leadership and peer support skills.
  • Highly developed critical thinking and reflective practice skills
  • High level communication, influencing, liaison, negotiation and mediation skills.
  • Current Drivers Licence.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and any relevant stated based checks.
