About the role
Joining our Disability rostering team, you will be an experienced roster officer or roster coordinator with previous experience in rostering for front line community services, have strong customer services skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
You will be responsible for coordinating and optimising our frontline disability support workforce by utilising rostering and scheduling systems and engaging with the people we support to understand and meet their needs and requirements while promoting a sustainable workforce.
This is a full-time position which can be based anywhere within our national footprint (except WA due to time differences), with hybrid work from home arrangements and flexible hours based between 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain Disability Support Worker’s rosters in accordance with client needs, service agreements, budgets and award requirements
- Respond to roster change requests, ensuring amendments are recorded are clearly communicated to stakeholders
- Ensure staff availability patterns are recorded and kept up to date
- Escalate rostering and staff skill gaps, and work with Managers to identify solutions
- Build and maintain positive relationships with employees, Managers and Clients
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a reactive rostering role within community services
- Technologically savvy
- Exceptional communication skills to foster positive relationships and outcomes
- Proven ability to prioritise and manage high workloads, consistently meeting critical deadlines.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
