About the role
We are looking for a strategic and innovative leader to step into the role of National Manager, Carer Experience. In this pivotal position, you’ll drive the implementation of our Carer Strategy, lead a high-performing team and enhance the systems that attract, support and retain our incredible carers in our Family Based Care Services.
You’ll oversee the Carer Experience Team and Central Carer Enquiry Team, working closely with service delivery and corporate teams nationally to champion initiatives that strengthen carer engagement — from peer support and carer events to cutting-edge tech solutions.
As part of our Child, Youth & Family senior leadership team, you'll need to be engaging, forward-thinking, and ready to influence and make an impact across the organisation.
This role can be based from any of our LWB offices nationally, with a hybrid working style, we encourage a positive work/life balance for our employees.
About you
You’re an experienced leader with a background in human or social services, volunteer engagement, or talent acquisition. You're creative, collaborative, and skilled at driving recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies that make a real impact. You thrive in dynamic environments, build strong relationships, and bring a culturally sensitive approach to your work.
Experience:
- Degree in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology or Human Services or other related field
- Significant experience in human services, volunteer management, or recruitment and retention
- A creative approach to marketing and communications, with a focus on engagement strategies
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and drive organisation-wide initiatives
- Proven ability to foster collaborative relationships across internal and external stakeholders
- A progressive mindset with confidence in using technology to enhance systems and experiences
- Culturally respectful practice and a commitment to reconciliation.
