About the Role
Provide one on one, in-home active overnight support from 11pm to 7am to a person with disability living in Greystanes.
Successful candidates will have experience in high care including hoists, peg feeding, catheter and bowel care and will be able to commit to a minimum of 3 active night shifts per week with willingness to pick up additional short shifts within our lifestyles program.
Joining our Lifestyles team, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with daily living (including personal care)
- Domestic assistance (support with household chores)
- Maintain and monitor person-centred plans
- Documenting and progress note keeping
Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting people with disability in a home care setting
- Catheter and bowel care experience
- Manual handling and hoist experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Confidence and experience in providing personal care
- Australian Drivers Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Willing to complete basic household chores
- Passionate about delivering Person-Centred care
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
