About the Role
As a member of the National Practice and Quality Improvement team within the Centre for Practice Excellence, you will provide leadership as a Business Partner, delivering practice support and assurance that drives continuous improvement within the disability and mental health programs.
The successful candidate will lead a team and play a key role in the delivery of quality services through supporting internal and external assurance and audit activities, provide support and advice to operational leaders to facilitate practice uplift and improved outcomes for our clients. This is a permanent full time position that can be located in Perth, Sydney or Darwin with flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practice advice and support to ensure alignment with LWB policies and procedures, frameworks, and any relevant external regulatory requirements
- Oversee and assess the implementation of internal audit and assurance activities in accordance with Disability & Mental Health services within the designated jurisdiction and nationally as required
- Coordinate and support external auditing and licensing related activities
- Support Operational Leaders to identify, assess, manage, and escalate client and operational risks
- Facilitate the development and implementation of risk management strategies, continuous improvement plans, and initiatives
- Provide coaching and support to Operational Leaders and teams to integrate best practice approaches into core business operations
- Conduct root cause analysis, escalate systemic, and implement processes that ensure the achievement of client outcomes
- Lead and manage a small team to ensure the effective delivery of practice support and assurance to Disability and Mental Health operational teams
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Services, Management or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in accreditation, governance, audit, and risk management within Disability and/or Mental Health services
- Demonstrated practice support experience, including the development and implementation of processes and systems to improve services
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Expertise in developing and implementing processes and systems that drive service improvement
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment while consistently delivering high-quality outcomes within set timeframes
