About the Role
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture Business Partnering for Child, Youth and Families, you will play a key role in partnering with our New South Wales and Tasmania Child, Youth and Families teams to assess, understand, and respond to business demand for strategic and operational P&C support aligned with LWB’s strategic goals and culture.
You will play a pivotal role as a visible leader across the business to partner, develop a culture that encourages accountability and collaboration. You will be hands on in your approach with a deep technical knowledge of best practice HR business partnering, in an evolving and often tactical environment.
This is a permanent full-time position offering the flexibility to work from your preferred location, whether from home or one of our NSW-based offices. There will be occasions when office attendance is required, and occasional travel will be part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support the P&C strategy
- Implement, model and support national P&C service delivery standards
- Develop creative solutions to business challenges in line with relevant workforce strategy
- Facilitate organisational redesign activities from structure, process and culture perspectives including the use of effective change management techniques
- Provide professional advice and coaching support to business leadership teams on a range of P&C related issues
- Ensure a high level of quality in customer service, and provision of effective and efficient delivery of P&C services
Skills & Experience
- Degree level qualification in human resources or a related field or demonstrated equivalent experience and a willingness to enrol in further study.
- Significant experience in generalist human resources position / business partnering / similar role
- Demonstrated experience navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence
- The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, partners, unions and external organisations.
- Demonstrated written communication skills for the creation of reports, correspondence and other material.
- Strong verbal communication skills and presentation ability.
- Proficient ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
