About the Organisation

Make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable Australians with this unique opportunity to provide both corporate expertise and community support. With a focus on people, not profit, Life Without Barriers’ corporate services team partners with our direct support staff, clients, and their families to ensure we continue our mission to change lives for the better.  If a truly inclusive, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment sounds like your next career move, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Life Without Barriers is a leading social purpose, not for profit organisation of 8,000 employees working in more than 500 communities across Australia. We support children, young people and families, people with disability, older people and people with mental illness. We work with people who are homeless and refugees and asylum seekers.

We want to employ people who reflect the diversity of our clients to ensure we can support each client's individual needs and wants. We encourage people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with disability to apply.

About the role

Partner with Hiring Managers to attract and recruit roles supporting our clients with disability and mental health issues including Disability Support Workers and front line Leaders. Our internal recruitment function punches well above its weight and you can forget any preconceived ideas that working for a Not For Profit might be an easy gig. In the last 12 months our team recruited over 3,000 roles where a fifth of these offers accepted were by our current employees with opportunities to progress their career internally. We are a national, centralised Talent & Attraction team that are geographically dispersed across the country and all connected by our drive and passion to make a difference. We’ve implemented and integrated PageUp, Xref and HROnboard, creating a great HR Tech stack to make sure you’re focused on the candidate and hiring manager experience.
