As we continue to expand our services for children and young individuals in need, we are in search of a child-focused and committed House Manager to join our team in Dubbo.

Collaborating closely with a Therapeutic Specialist and Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people (generally aged between 12 -17 years) through our therapeutic care framework, known as the Children and Residential Experiences (CARE) therapeutic framework. You will lead, inspire and guide a dedicated team of Therapeutic Youth workers to ensure the creation of a safe, nurturing environment conducive to the well-being and growth of the children and young people under our care. You will also provide direct support to children and young people to foster the development of independent living skills, facilitate educational engagement, and maintain positive connections with their care team, families, and wider community network.

Role requirements:

  • A Diploma of Community Services, Youth work or related (A qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience)
  • Previous Leadership experience in services that support Children & Young people, preferably within a residential care setting.
  • Experience supporting children and young people with who have experienced trauma, exhibit pain based behaviours of concern, those who have a disability and/or complex health needs.
  • Ability to provide supervision and support to a team of Therapeutic Care Workers, to embed the delivery of therapeutic models of support to Children & Young People.
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) Certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence
