About the Role
We are looking for a male individual who is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with disabilities. Most importantly, we need someone who is value-oriented, and people-focused to help our young male clients achieve their goals and continue to thrive independently. Our Supported Independent Living site in Forster houses two clients, who are looking for someone who is available for 24/7 shift work, this includes active nights.

Key Responsibilities
Follow person-centred support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully
Participate in community activities and encourage clients to perform daily living tasks
Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record keeping
Follow company procedures when reporting incidents and maintain confidentiality
Build meaningful positive relationships with our clients and their families
Skills & Experience
An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
Commitment to a work across a 24/7 roster as required
Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
Prior experience supporting someone with their mental health and/or challenging behaviours
Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
