About the role
Work closely with the operational management of the Child, Youth and Family program and engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure service delivery adheres to contract and compliance obligations and ensure good outcomes for service users.

There are two positions available: a permanent full-time role and a full-time 5-month contract. Work from home with the flexibility to work from the Hurstville office.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively work with stakeholders to identify financial deficits and respond to funding opportunities.
  • Complete and submit high quality funding applications for children and young people.
  • Ensure that the funding attributed to placements covers the cost of providing services.
  • Support staff with funding and other application-based process related to the Permanency Support program to ensure maximised funding opportunity, compliance with policies & procedures, and contractual requirements.
  • Provide internal support to teams to understand contractual requirements and opportunities.
  • Report on funding outcomes; other project and data remediation tasks as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated contract management, or experience within the Out-of-Home Care Sector, highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a similar role understanding financial, funding and/or contract requirements.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fluid and changing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing sensitive information and keeping a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities whilst delivering high quality outcomes.
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Teams. Intermediate to advance use of excel, and a quick learner on bespoke systems will be highly regarded.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations may be required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders across all States and Territories. In these circumstances, evidence of vaccination will be required prior to an offer of employment.
